Meeting Objective: Review progress on our six action teams, refine our strategy based on new information, and establish clear next steps for preserving Grant County's library services.

  • Alternative site options in John Day
  • Collection security plan update
  • Foundation board engagement results
  • Legal counsel status and advice
  • Property transfer/lease pathway options

Team 4: Community Engagement & Fundraising

  • Emergency fundraising campaign results
  • Tax levy research findings and timeline
  • State Rep. Mark Owens outreach results
  • Grant and donor prospect list

Team 5: Future Operations & Budget Planning

  • Staffing model recommendations
  • Annual operating budget analysis
  • Community service survey results

Team 6: Technology & Communications

  • Website and online presence status
  • Fundraising platform setup
  • Volunteer coordination system

III. Strategy Refinement (15 minutes)

  • Task Modifications: Which action items should be added, removed, or reassigned?
  • Priority Ranking: What are our most critical next steps?
  • Resource Gaps: Where do we need additional volunteers or expertise?

IV. Next Steps & Timeline (8 minutes)

  • 30-Day Priorities: What must be completed before the county's first public meeting?
  • Team Assignments: Updated task ownership and deadlines
  • Communication Plan: How do we keep momentum between meetings?
  • Generate a document on our efforts for next county court regular meeting before public meeting
  • Any New Business: Anything not covered in this agenda

V. Next Meeting Planning (2 minutes)

  • Agenda Focus: What will be our primary objectives for the next gathering?
